Car Parking

Picture
If you are just visiting or on a short placement, you will need to pay for car parking on a daily basis. The main hospital visitor's car park is accessed from the hospital entrance via the roundabout on Haslingden Road. Tickets are issued on entry and charges must be paid at the machine prior to departure.

If you are coming to the Learning Centre, the nearest car park is Car Park J. This is accessed by entering the hospital site at the service entrance opposite the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Haslingden Road. Entry to Car Park J is by permit but visitors can pay and display on a daily basis. Please press the buzzer at the barrier to gain entry and remember to purchase a ticket and clearly display this in your window.
If you are here on a longer placement (a minimum of 8 weeks) car parking permits can be purchased. Please fill in and sign the document below and bring this with you on your first day of placement to obtain a signature from one of the DUE team. To pay for the permit you will need to go to the Car Parking Services Desk at the Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital located within the main entrance on level one.

Please note:
  • That possession of a valid car parking pass does not guarantee you a parking space.
  • The Trust and its agents accept no responsibility for any damage to or theft from vehicles whilst parked within the site boundaries.
