Michelle Stephens is an highly experienced NHS Research and Development Manager with over twenty years of RD&I experience in the NHS and further experience in social sciences, health service, public health research and Cochrane Reviews in academia.  She has extensive portfolio in working closely with global pharmaceutical companies, universities, charities, NHS organisations and SMEs in taking forward research and innovation for the benefit of patients and the wider NHS. She has an track record and reputation in successful clinical research delivery and is passionate about high quality research in and for the NHS.
 
Michelle joined East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust in July 2018 as Research Manager – Delivery and Industry. Michelle leads the Clinical Research Delivery team as well as the Research  Support Office and Research Quality and Finance team.
