Work Placement Programme
We have called the course a Work Placement Programme rather the "Work experience" or "Job Shadowing" to reflect its design and acknowledge that it is not possible for us to provide either experience or shadowing given the nature of medicine in practice. Furthermore, the programme design is aimed specifically at all aspects required to enter medical school.
The course follows the academic Year 12 from Spring onwards leading up to the UCAS application mid-October in Year 13 and beyond when medical interviews take place.
Year 12 is the best time to attend the course to optimise applicants' preparations and chances of success. There is no such time limit for postgraduates.
Who is eligible?
For more information about the Work Placement Programme, please see flyer below.
The programme will run for 2 days over a 5 week period starting on the 27th July - 31st August. If you would like to apply, please download the below documents and return to [email protected].
