Work Based Education

The main aims of the WBET team are to:
Engage with schools and colleges to raise the awareness of the variety of careers in the NHS and apprenticeships pathway in the NHS.
Facilitate work experience placements for students from our footprint to offer them an insight into NHS Careers.
Support and mentor students from local colleges on the Cadet Scheme.
Offer a range of apprenticeships to existing and new staff within ELHT to support their role or career progression.
Widening Access scheme to support all members of our local community gain employment within ELHT.
