SAS Doctors and Senior Clinical Fellows

SAS Doctors and Senior Clinical Fellows are invaluable to the Trust and you will be supported in your development by an SAS Doctors Education Lead. Individual support is also available from your Specialty’s Education Lead.

The Education Lead will be able to offer support and advice for those wishing to pursue a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) as well as for those simply wishing to develop themselves as doctor. You will be encouraged to take up training for educational and clinical supervision, representation at the Local Negotiating Committee and provide supervision of medical students from both UCLan and Lancaster Universities when the opportunity arises.
A newsletter will keep you informed of any developments you need to be aware of.

Further Information

Mr Sanjoy Bhattacharyya is the SAS Doctors Lead for the Trust and is the first point of contact for any educational issues. - sanjoy.bhattacharyya@elht.nhs.uk
Further information about SAS Doctors and Senior Clinical Fellows can also be accessed at Health Education England North-West
